I freaking hate deers :(

Actually, I do. Where are you in MontCo?

You need to find a shop that is unable to find aftermarket parts.

Send me a PM and I'll give you a few suggestions.

I whacked 3 deer while I was living in Gaithersburg - so been there, done that. I had GEICO then too.

I already took it to fitzgerald auto collision located in gaithersburg.

Hopefully my 4runner turns out good. I will let you know after I get my car back. Its already been a week and they said it is going to take a week more so hopefully they do a good job otherwise ill be pissed.

Totally agree that this is a good excuse to do some mods. I was looking at a t4r with front end damage to repair and drive and this was one of the bada$$ mods I found. Maybe a great start to a great rig.
LFD Off Road - 5th Gen 4Runner Front Bumper - Full Replacement 2014+ TRD Pro Grille
I do want that but mine is a 2013 so it wont work. I am working on getting the supercharger installed in a a year or after I pay off my 4runner.

Is that the one next to the Toyota dealer (behind the transmission shop?). If so, they used to be good. I had an Acura RL fixed there (after a deer "incident") and they did a good job.

Don't accept anything less than perfect. Make sure all of the fasteners are correct, all of the underhood stickers are there and you can't see anything wrong at all. Make sure the headlights are properly aligned (they won't be) and you'll need to get the headlights done at the dealer.

Yup its right next to kings vw and the toyota/subaru/hyundia(fitzgerald) center.
I will check it before I take it. IF you google the address I gave you its the address to the repair shop. Hoping they do a good job, I will give an update when I get my truck back. Already missing it :hurt:

They did a great job on the Acura but I think they may have changed ownership as they weren't Fitzgerald then but if they kept the same people then you should be good.

The ARB is about 200lbs. The stock bumper is about 30.

I thought the 4runner shocks are good since this is meant for a truck its basically a tacoma with a back end. Cant wait until tomorrow. My 4runner should be ready. Cant believe I got this in may and its only only been 2 months and already a deer hit it yet I never have hit a deer with my previous cars. So far the customer service from that fitzgerald collision shop sucks since she told me she would call me back but never calls me back and its been 2 times that happened. :frusty: I just wanted to ask her if my car was ready since I dropped it of on monday the 6th. I called on last friday and today. I mean she talked okay to me but she told me she would call me regarding my suv and never heard back from her so I have to be the one to call her. I just hope they do a good job.

omg this is so annoying. Its saturday and it would be 2 weeks starting monday. I don't have my car yet. I am getting annoyed. They said its been 3 days since they haven't gotten the fog light housing and now there going to try getting toyota parts on monday or tuesday.

Here is a recent post from the main site.

Yeah, they changed ownership since I was there, but I think they kept many of the body guys.

It is often the little parts that are an issue. I waited two months for a radiator mount from Audi after I whacked my first deer - then another 5 months for some stickers (but I had the car back when I was waiting for the stickers).

If they don't have them by next week, then you could look at some aftermarket fogs - but those may take some time too.

COVID-19 has slowed down the supply chain greatly so we do need to take that into consideration.

As an example, I get weekly magazine mailed from Europe. I hadn't gotten one for about a month - then yesterday I got one mailed on June the 16th...

They said it is aftermarket part. The fedex shipping said its delivered but they never got it. and its been 3 days since they haven't got it. They ordered an toyota fog now or thats what she tells me. I don't know whats going on other then what shes telling me.

Should I go with bilstens or fox shocks?

I think either will enhance handling.
