I got my truck stuck in the snow! Thought I'd share a few pictures!

I was out snowboarding last weekend in Lutsen, MN and got my girl stuck in a ditch. I pulled over but didn't realize there was a 3 ft drop under the snow. I got her out with the help of a friend...but I just thought I'd share!

It looks like you could have just backed out through your original tire marks. Were your tires unable to get traction? Did you try putting it into 4LO and/or locking the diff?

I know the feeling. Did almost the same thing years ago, with my first 4wd truck, a chevy K10. I was driving to work in about 18" of fresh snow one morning, ahead of the county plow. I came up on a guy stuck right in the middle of the road, with no way to get by him. The plow truck wasn't going to be able to get by him either. So, trying to be the good Samaritan, I pulled right up to his back bumper, and then asked the county plow to clear as close to me as he could, then back up. I intended to then hook my tow rope up to the guy and pull him back to the clear pavement, and let the plow truck get by us. The plan was working just fine, until I pulled a little too close to the right side, and slipped both right side wheels into the ditch I couldn't see because it was covered in snow. I felt like an idiot, and had to then ask the county plow to pull me out. He had a good chuckle, but we all finally went on our ways.

you can't tell from the pictures...but both my left tires had no traction! I tried 4lo and locking the center diff. I thought I could get myself out...but I didn't. We just hooked up to the front/right tow hook, pulled me towards the other way and I was out! Got a video too! It was funny. That was deep snow!

that suuucks. that happened to me before..well my buddy was driving and we thought we got rock star parking at the resort but its cause it was deep snow. we had to get pulled out by the tractor...after we finished riding of course

That sucks man, at least you had help. How is the skiing up there? I have relatives in the twin cities and we are thinking of heading up there for the holidays this year.

Nice, I am about to go up there to Lutsen for a buddies birthday at the end of January. Good thing it wasn't too much of a problem.

Lutsen is really fun! It was my first time there. The mtn across the gandala was really nice! Lots of long black diamond runs! Lots of uncharted trails too! You'll have a great time!
