I installed my lift yesterday... one question though

I searched and I didn't see anything.

I did the Toytec ultimate life on my 2003 4Runner and in the rear I got about 4 inches and in the front it's coming out to about 4.5 inches. I didn't adjust anything, left the coilovers at the preset 2.5 inches.

I'm sure this was just caused by having some old beat up suspension on there before, 140,000 miles old, that caused these numbers to be much higher than expected, but I want to get a second opinion from all you guys in Internet land.

On 3rd gens the front shouldn't be over 3" without causing problems. So not sure if it relates to 4th gens. The coilovers will settle some. But not 1.5". My toytec coilovers came too high for me also. I had to crank them down.

I would echo AZ's comments; it will definitely settle some but probably not a full 1.5"s. I have the same lift and would say it settled an inch at most. I would suggest dialing the front coil-overs down a bit and then give it some time to fully settle.

What coils did you select with your ultimate to run in the rear?

I'm using the toytec super flex that are Il only supposed to give me 2 inches.
