I Love These Wheels

Is anybody running these wheels on their 4Runner? I had similar wheels on my Tundra Rock Warrior, but they were 5 lug and I didn't think there was anything equivalent for 6 lug. I think these were for the FJ Cruiser, but I'd really like a set for my white Trail. It looks like I can score a set for about a grand new...can't seem to find any used.

you will hardly find new, Factor in you need the trd lug set as well to run these

Yikes! $130 in lug nuts...I didn't see that coming...I sure do like them though. I wonder if the back spacing is the same as the Trail wheels.

Those are 16" FJ wheels and won't clear the calipers on the 4R.

Those look very familiar...so pricey though...not quite as nice as the bronze centers IMHO. Thanks for the information.

Honestly, when I think about it, they really sucked to keep clean. Water pools behind the faux lock ring and makes a mess...the slots in the grey section are too narrow to get your sponge into...and the center caps started to oxidize after a single winter. That's probably not worth $1500.

I'd run the trail-ready over the TRD any day. They make nice wheels. Also. Real beadlocks. If your going to do it, do it right but remember to properly torque all those nuts and check them periodically!

I think these are actually faux bead locks..."BeadLOOKs" or some such thing. TrailReady beadlocks are super cool, but I'm not sure that true beadlock rims are such a great idea for daily driving and mall crawling. I thought I read that you should retorque the lock ring every 500 miles or so. I've driven this thing 8000 miles in 3 months. That's a lot of effort for a vehicle that is 99.9% street driven.

They aren't. I just don't personally like the pho-bead locks (especially for the price). You are correct about the retorquing. This is why they are mostly only on trail only rigs.
