Just wanted to come back over here and say HELLO-

Sold my 04 4Runner, and bought a new Tacoma last week. Absolutely love my Tacoma, and loved my 4Runner.

But, I will say, it's a different world on the TacomaWorld website.

I miss t4r. Much more refined and cordial.

I'll be poking my head back in here every now and then, for a smell of reality.

haha that light will set you back about $380! But I don't know if it will fit the 4runner... The tacoma hood scoop looks a bit bigger.

I'll keep researching until I find out.

Ya I spent a couple years over there and while it is a great resource they can, to put it lightly, be a bit harsh but there are also a lot of good peeps over there too.

What did you get for a Taco? Pics plz! I miss my Taco but I do love the T4R

In all seriousness, any guess as to why that is? It can't be a demographic issue; or is it? Does $15k difference between a high end Taco and a Limited t4r really make that much difference?

I was going to guess age. The age of the posters seems younger.

My point being, you would never see the kind of response you saw on here for SeattleMike on the Tacoma board.

It is all demographic, just complex demographics. Biggest thing is volume of people. Here, you have a 4Runner that sells about 5K/month and 5thG has only been out for a few years. Over there you have 10K/month being sold and current model has been out a long time. More chance of dumba$$es posting. Also we have some good moderators that keep it civil.
