I need another 1/2" to clear.. which spacers to get

Okay so due to a near perfect alignment.. im still figuring what it is - tie rod, wheel bearing or/and steering rack bushing, i have slight positive camber. so i was at the tire shop today and had them put on the new rubber.. the guys didnt even notice that they put the tires completely smooshed against the UCA.. i had to be the one to point it out haha.. so luckily we scraped up some 1/4" spacers for the front. These did the job so i could take it home but i still need a bit more clearance. Can i get the washer style (non bolt ons) in 1/2".. right now im rocking the 1/4" washer style. I dont mind bolt ons but keeping the cost down would absolutely be a bonus

Nice, I think I'm going with the same tires!

I'm going to try to go with 1.0" spacers front, and 1.25 spacers rear (All-pro).

Except I think I'll have to shave off the front lug studs a tad for only 1.0" spacer to be used. The studs are little longer than 1.0". This will also help rubbing issues though, since they won't be outset as far.

I've only put about 100km on em but I love em so far.

Does anyone have any experience with 1" spacers. Will they fit without shaving the studs.. What's the smallest you can go without shaving? Thanks!

This has got me scared. I am planning to lift next weekend and putting 285/75/16's on my stock wheels. I really hope I don't need spacers. I am going to be running TRD struts with a 1/4" Toytec Top Plate spacer to hopefully give me just over 3" of lift. I've got some cheapy 1/4" plate spacers that I took off of my Z71 chevy that I guess I will try if it hits. How many people are running 285's with no spacers? It seems like I have seen a lot that don't.

The more lift you have the closer the UCA will be to the tire. I have 3" lift in front and stock 5 star wheels and 285s don't fit without spacers. I'm running 265 with no spacer right now and not a bit of rubbing.

You'll need some spacing there to run 285s and over 3" of lift. The lug studs are about 1.125", so to use 1" spacers you'd have to shave off a bit to get them be flush. Or you could just get 1.25" spacers, but that only will make rubbing worse. I think what I'm going to do is get 1.0" spacers and shave off, but I can't find any hub-centric 1.0" spacers.

I am running stock limited rims, i have a 3.5" lift and 1/4" washer spacers in.. i have between 2mm and zero of clearance BUT i have slight positive camber so this makes it worse.. you will probably need spacers, im going with the 1.25" and calling it a day.. i only rub on the UCA up front and when i flex full then the rear mud liner (inner wall).
