I need brighter headlights

Bought the correct relay and wiring kit at Amazon, I think.

It works fine when the headlights are on, but when it's only the DRL, the relays
both buzz noticeably. Don't know if there's a more correct kit, but I didn't know
I would need one.

For the moment, I'm just going to drive with the h/lights on.
DRL and headlight relay harnesses are not compatible. Disable the DRLs.

What year Dodge uses that? Doesn't fit my 2nd Gen.....maybe a 1st?
I installed IPF aftermarket 6x7's (functionally the same as the linked Hellas) in my old Toyota 4WD truck. They were that same rectangular Reg/Hi beam combo headlights that many (most?) cars and trucks used for, what...20 or 25 years?
The 2nd gen 4Runner, if I recall correctly, started with the rectangular sealed beams but the mid-gen (1992) refresh brought the "better" custom headlights.

Gotcah. Yeah, definitely doesnt' fit a 2nd gen Dodge. Would possibly fit a 1st gen.

I'll throw in another vote for the DIY projectors if you can swing it. Converted mine a few years ago and never looked back. TONS of light and was kind of a fun project.

so if I am reading correct, to use the harness, you have to disable the DRL's.
on my 2000 I just unplugged the box next to battery to disable DRL's

is that good enough for this harness mod or do I have to snip wires ?

i recently got new projectors from TEQ customs who i believe use the BxBuilt setup, they had a 4th of july sale and saved $100+ on them. the difference is insane, wish i'd done this earlier and am very pleased with their function. i do think they look a bit bug eyed which i don't love, but worth it to be able to see better without blinding others

I already purchased the upgraded harness and bulbs, but I’m definitely going to budget for the TEQ lights in the very near future. Any picture of the light spread?

Not sure on fitment, but I've been fairly happy with the Hikari LED bulbs you can find on Amazon. Probably some better options, but still good 'value'
