you guys dont think he should consider selling it and taking that extra money he could get for the lift/paint etc and get a 4x4 runner.. then progressively build it?
If I was this guy I'd paint the trim, bumpers, grill, license plate frame white to match the 4runner. Fix up the problems with the interior, fix the system, and add a decent set of tires. Maybe do a projector retrofit and that would it. I wouldn't touch anything else.
