I need your opinions/advice

So, here's the deal. I don't know much about Toyotas except I've heard they run "forever". I have found a '87 runner I'm intrested in but don't know if it's worth it. I'm hoping someone on here can point me in the right direction. Beyond the seller telling me it runs great I don't know to much about it. It has 263,000 miles and a 22r 4 cylinder engine. Asking price is $2800. All advice and input is welcome. Thanks!!

Toyota trucks have a rep of running forever in part due to the 22R engine.
It will run great when new, and then decent almost forever.
If it's properly taken care of, 200K is nothing.

even if the motor does fail you get a good running used one for under 500 any day of the week.
