It's unfortunate, but this is happening everywhere and not just for toyota's.
My experience has been different with Z's the Z32 came in a limited run on both purple and cocoa brown on the verts and both are highly sought after. As for the new color on the runner I personally like it but I like bright bold colors lol, wish it actually was as bright and bold as the new tacoma lime rush not sure why they did two different shades.
I am jealous of your sucess! I had a yellow 1999 BMW M3 convertible that, to me, was amazing, but when it came time to get rid of it, it was a dud in the aftermarket. I've been pretty conservative on colors ever since.

Just picked mine up and I’m stoked. Looks way better in person than in pictures. To each their own!
Good for you! You are right about to each their own (as a previous owner of a yellow car). When I bought my Pro in the winter this is how it went:
Me: I want a Pro in white
Dealer: No you don't, you want it in Lunar Rock
Me: No, I want it in white
Dealer: Have you seen Lunar Rock in person?
Me: No
Dealer: Come in as we have one for someone else in the back lot that you can check out
Me: ...ok, fine...
I bought Lunar Rock. It looked way better in person.

Funny how that works. When I was looking for my 2016 Wrangler I was ok with every color but black, white, or Rhino. Hated Rhino on the Jeep build site. Guess which one I went home with... Rhino is now one of my favorite Jeep colors.

You saved yourself disappointment of having Super White chip prematurely.

Is it true that you could only get certain accessories (third row, sliding cargo tray) with certain colors? That’s the way the configuration limits me online when building a nightshade.
Like 3rd row made me get super white, cargo tray made me get magnetic gray. Again, this was the BUILD tool, not the “see what inventory is available” tool.

That is strange. You would think car color would not matter. I wonder if it is some problem with the Build tool. I put a deposit on my TRD Pro when it was still on the boat. There were two to choose from. Both same color. Minor accessory differences. That was last February.

Any chance a 2022 Pro owner could post a pic of the DRL bulb/setup? Looking to get upgrade my 2021 Pro DRL's to the 22 if possible.
I looked forever to find a Dakar yellow e36, had zero luck. Love that color!

First Toyota would never have added 360 deg camera for one model year. With MY22 getting the cameras it was clear there is at least another model year of 5th Gen after that.
Second the delays of Prado, Tundra and other Toyota models affect the next 4R generation.
Informed sources all over the web are talking about this.
Also on this forum in some threads in the 6th Gen section. There are some posters with knowledge.

There's been no delay in the Tundra and everything has played out according to this new product timeline as shown a year ,or so, ago. No reason to think the next Sequoia and 4Runner are not on schedule.

By the way - the timeline showing the Tundra is already the delayed release date when it was clear they won’t be able to release as planned.

Ummm....ok....I guess you have insider info.
Timeline said Q4 2021 for the Tundra release. It's Q4 2021 and the new Tundra was released so I'm not really sure how you categorize that as a delay, but ok.
