it was easy for me...


and by 'pops off' i mean there are no bolts/clips/fasteners holding it down, it literally does pop off

I used krylon flat black, a few coats, and I'm gonna get some clear and do that sometime soon.

really makes the back pop, recommended for everyone!

well it does say that it works with plastics on it so... yeah?

it holdsup fine, I tried different things to see it's strength (rubbing on it, scraping it with my nail) and it hasn't given out

still a few coats andsome clear can't hurt

I'm definitely going to have to do that at some point. Makes a big difference. Next up is sanding down those chrome bumpers and getting them color-matched!

So you just grab one of the corners and yank it off and it should pop right out?

yup....just pull...it'll be a little tough, but it comes out eventually....i'm gonna do the step AND my front valence, since the front bumper's gotta come off for the soon-to-come body lift anyways

So you'll just tape off the chrome portions and paint the valence while still attached to the bumper? I imagine that's the only way to do it since the valence pieces don't come off, correct?

nooo it's gotta come off...i just mean it'll be easier to seperate the two parts when its off the truck

dude! I love the color matching idea! when you say you are going to do that, are you going to have a shop paint them? color matching to paint that isn't, well, black is not easy...

I wish I could do mine but thanks to the girl who used to own mine, she successfully dented all 3 rear bumper bits, the front bumper and damaged both upper and front lower valances.

I think I'll just wait to get rear ended or what have you to fix them lol
