My runner revs high, vibrates from 25 to 60. someone told me it may be stuck in 4wd. It has auto locking hubs so should the front axles turn when the 4wd is disengaged?
I think my t4r is stuck in 4wd.

Sounds like a drive shaft u- joint is bad

put the right rear and the left front on jacks and block the other two. spin the left front with your hand, if your drive shaft turns your stuck. repeat for opposite side.

Ditto that idea.
... my money is on the idler arm... jack up the truck and check the idler arm by wiggling the tires back and fourth. if the idler arm is bad you'll see that is moves up and down and and left to right VS. just left to right. i had a similar issue, turned out to be the idler arm. get us more info on make model year, engine ect ect and we'll figure it out.
