PLEASE make sure and put a large blanket or something heavy across the chain or cable about mid way down. This will instantly kill the kinetic energy of the chain if it were to break or slip off the stump. It can seriously hurt or even kill someone if the chain/cable comes flying forward without warning, not to mention screwing up your truck. Ask my buddy who aquired a nice DEEP chain rash in the tailgate of his new F-350 when the chain came off the palm tree. Damn near folded his license plate like a taco.
