I installed an Icon Stage 2 lift with LR UCAs on my 11 TE with KDSS. Alignment has been completed and is in spec.
A noise from 35mph and up, that sounds like a bad wheel bearing, has presented itself and is becoming worse. There is also a significant vibration from the rear end from about 55mph and up.
The vibration feels like imbalanced rear tires, but gets progressively worse with higher speed, feeling like the axle is leaving the ground over 75mph.
Rotating tires has no affect, and no balance or noise issues before the lift. 2HI/4HI, same noise and vibration. Just greased and checked UJoints, they all seem tight with no play, but I have not removed the drive shaft to check for stuck joints, yet.
With jack stands under the rear axle and lower control arms, all wheels turn freely, with no abnormal noise and no play.
Tried loosening all of the rear suspension bolts (upper and lower links, panhard, shocks, and swaybar bolts), then re-tightening them to spec under the vehicle's weight. Again, to no affect.
At this point, I am planning to remove the entire lift tomorrow and see if the problem is still there, unless anyone has any ideas...:faint:
