Ok I searxhed but didn't find anything specific for 34 inch tires.

I'm planning on having demello offroad install an icon stage 2 with cam burg UCAs and a body mount chop and their new front bumper.

Will I clear 285/75/17s? Or will more trimming need to be done.

Tires will be BFG AT KO

How much lift are you planning on?
UCA's you're planning on should give you sufficient caster adjustment to get the wheels far enough forward and clear a "34" inch tire.
Between the body mount chop and a new front bumper, you will have done all that you can do in terms of making room, short of a complete rework of the fender well lining.
The reason I ask about the amount of lift, is that you may still rub on the body mount or the top of the fender well lining under full flex and or steering lock, so you will want as much lift as your CV's will handle to give you the best chance. If we're talking about a suspension lift only, this is going to be ~3".

I'm currently sitting at 2.5" lift in the front and I know from trying one on recently that I can clear a 285/75-17, however, I know I would experience rubbing at some point off-road without giving myself a bit more lift and going with an aftermarket bumper.
bimrunner runs this size of tire on his 5th gen. You could go have a look at what he's done. LINK

If you want this size, you'll need to look in to BFG KM2's, Toyo MT's, Toyo ATII Extreme or Nitto Trail Grappler among others that I may not be aware of. That, or the new size they're coming out with for the BFG KO2(34x10.5")

There is no size 285/75/17 in the BFG KO's. The BFG KM2 has this size.

But body chop for sure if you want to clear the 75.

you should be fine with icon UCAs and body mount chop, you may have to trim the front fender well lining but thats not hard

If you are willing to chop away at the liner where necessary and do the BMC, you can run 34s! Shoot, I think you could get 35s on there if you are willing to do enough cutting of the fender liners. Be careful though because you can get rubbing at full stuff up top if you take a hit hard going fast off road. I did that a couple times but it wasn't too bad. It will depend on wheels, how much tire is worn... exact tire dimensions etc. I usually have a few blades with me when I off road and I remember when I first went to 34s I would just cut off whatever was catching. Also, I have no idea how much rear well trimming you will need. I know I did a bit but I also have a high clearance rear bumper on my rig.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

Yes I want to run 75 not 70s

I don't mind trimming the inner gender lining. Are there any AT 75 tires? Or only MT

I run the Toyo AT II Xtremes in 285/75/17 and love them. They are almost as loud as the 305/70/17 KM2's,which were 34's too,I ran before them but are smoother on the highway and get a couple of mpg better gas mileage then the KM2's. 10k miles on the Toyo's now and still look and ride like new...... Toyo AT II Xtremes

One thing you'll notice a theme where most of us running 34's regeared to 4:56's . It is going to run like a dog going up 2 1/2" inches in tire size with stock gearing as the shift points will be way off and will hunt between 4-5th gear constantly.

Nitto Terra Grappler as mentioned by 4Running Daily, and the Toyo Open Country ATII extreme as I mentioned in my post above. Also mentioned in my post above, there will be a similar size BFG AT KO2 released at some point.

Awesome. I've heard great things about the Toyo at2.

Now the next question. I have the trd pro wheels which are only 7 inches wide. I know people are running 285/70s on them but will the 75s be an issue since they're the same width only taller?

The manufacturers will all recommend an 7.5-9" range with 8" being the measured rim size. You can get away with 7" wide wheel on both the 285 70 and 285 75 tire sizes, but some shops may refuse to do the mount.

That's a bummer to hear that the ATII are almost as loud as the KM2's. I think that size is the "Extreme" so the bigger lugs make sense. I was thinking of going to the ATII's after my MTRs ran out. Maybe I'll reconsider, I want a lighter (somewhat), smoother, quieter AT tire. Maybe the KO2 will be the answer.

What's the minimum air pressure before entering the danger zone?
