ICON Stage one Question

Guys I have been searching for a nice lift kit for my 4runner, I read good things about ICON, it is very expensive, but they say it keeps ride quality. Question yo you guys, the website said that it recommends size 285 75 16 tires for the ICON lift kit, the tires seem too big, or am I just underestamating the lift and the 4Runner. I want to keep the stock 17's I have, so that would mean I would put 285 70 17 tires on. Guy what do you think are does tires too big?

Those tires will fit with some minor trimming, they are not that much bigger than stock size tires.

I would also look into the Rad Flo setup carried by Overland Warehouse instead of the Icon's. It was made specifically for 4Runners and they have great customer service. If I did not have Fox, I would go with OW's Rad Flo setup.
