The price he has listed is the minimum advertised pricing. I think what he's saying is that if you contact him directly over the phone they can undercut competitors and give you a better deal. They just can't advertise a lower price than what ICON has set as their MAP price. Sounds like they are trying to make their money on volume of sales rather than the intended margin put in place by ICON.

I'm pretty sure it will ride like a dream. I'm running the Sonoran Steel 1.2 with the Radflo 2.5" external resi coilovers & shocks with Icon UCAs and am very happy with the ride. The Icon stage 5 kit has the click dials on all the reservoirs to be able to fine tune the suspension even more. Icon makes a fine product so you won't be disappointed. And there's no guess work with mounting the reservoirs, it comes with brackets and everything lines up very easy. I had to get creative with my Radflos and even modify them some, which is a whole 'nother story.
For your rear you could get the Sonoran Steel piece together kit for $500 which has all the Sonoran made stuff like panhard bar, sway bar brackets, diff drop, rear bump stop extensions, etc. You'll still have to get rear springs though so that's up to you to figure out. That all depends on how much weight you are going to be carrying. I have LC80 coils which sit way stinkbug normally but once I have all my camping gear and such loaded up it sits fine. I have friends who got the OME 890s and they were great normally but sagged a lot with all the gear and adding armor to the truck. So decide on what coils you want and plan on added mods like a rear swing out, roof rack, rear storage setup, etc.

Most if not all companies that sell coilovers sell one type for the Tacoma and 4Runner. The bolt pattern on the 4runner's coil bucket is the same as a Taco but clocked, and my pic earlier shows you how much. According to the manufacturers it's not a big deal as the top mount of the coilover is a joint that rotates. There was debate earlier as to wether it causes premature wear with the top being rotated over so far, but at a minimum it is aesthetically unpleasing. If you get Icon or Radflo coilovers with external reservoirs they will come with different top hats that will make the coilover sit straight instead of clocked over.

I was thinking about running the toytec super flex rear springs,opinions? The amount of cargo I will have is going to vary from camp gear for two adults and 2 kids,to mountain bike gear, to wheeling gear and photography stuff and at times all of it at once, which is why I want the Icon cdc. I work at a shop that is a dealer for icon and ome. So I know about how well the product is.

Not sure, I've only had stock and now the LC80's, and I've only seen rigs running the OME 890 or 891 which turned out to be too soft. Maybe [MENTION=96608]MandAtaco[/MENTION] or [MENTION=73515]ajonesnv[/MENTION] can chime in on their OME experience.

How much travel is gained by going with the extended shock and icon uca vs. non extended shock and stock uca? Which shock is comparable to the toytec boss? (Extended w/uca or non extended)
