Ideas for fog lights

I'll just look him up on ebay :D

I have a free day tomorrow, so i'm going to look around town for some.

For the fogs do you need the hid conversion kit or can you buy just the bulbs?

i bought the HID kit for them, if you want a knock off 3000k HID kit look for yellow halogen bulbs. Texon makes yellow halogen bulbs. But you can not buy just an HID bulb and put it in there, it doesnt work that way. There are wires on the end of an HID bulb. My friend has the texon bulbs in his car, heres the link to what the bulb and package look like on the manufacturers site....

Well today i did some wiring and made my stock fog lights an additional DRL with the stock on/off switch. I ordered the 3000k yellow fogs from choi-q. His store is actually about an hour north of me so I should get them by Friday hopefully.

While I was at it i ordered the v-led hid white licence plate leds. :D

sounds good i am buying all of my led interior lights this weekend. not sure what color i wanna do yet though. licence plates a good idea too
 
You gotta let me know if you like that. I was thinking about doing that, but wasnt sure if they would be too harsh.

I installed the fog lights today. Here's pics. They are really bright. I think i need to get some HID headlights now, thinking 6000k or 8000k idk

donnie, what bulb did you order for your fog light kit?...I know that it is supposed to take a 9006 bulb but choi-q only offers bulbs in these sizes: H4(9003), 9004(HB1), 9007(HB5), 9008(H13) and they are all listen as bi-xenons
 
body the lights look great, i went with the 10k for the headlights and i love them, they are not as deep blue as i expected which turns out for the better.

i used the 9006 for the foglights, i am trouble finding the listing...

and ill post pictures when im done with leds. they should be here by monday afternoon

You need a total of 4 bulbs for the headlights right?

I used 3000k/golden yellow 9006/HB4. I couldn't find any of his current 4runner HID auctions but email him and he'll have some.

Is the install as easy as the auction says it is?
Does the ballast fit easily under the bumper?
 
Yeah it was easy. Take out the old ones, and plug in the new ones.

I stuck my right ballast (if your looking at the front of the truck) next to the battery, and the left one along the side of the inside of the truck. zip ties made it easy.

I couldn't find 2000K on their site. :confused:
 
yea, they dont have 2000k no more, so 3000k only, its not deeper yellow thats all. im sure its not a big deal.
 
yea you need four bulbs total for the headlights. 2 for the high beam 2 for the low beam. which means you only need 2 kits, a 9006 for the low and a 9005 for the high.
 
Yeah sorry, i've been insanely busy these last few days. Here are some pictures I took with my phone. When I get a chance I'll take better pictures with my camera.

The new lights look awesome, can never have too many huh? How much did you get those for?

free! a friend got rid of his truck for a car. they r blinding, literally i need to aim them, but dont no where to aim them, so i get fingers, horns, and flashes all night lol
 
Nice! lucky you! Hahahahahahaha if your front windows are tinted they cant see you so gestures and looks dont do anything :awais:
