Illuminating window switches ???

One fine vehicle my new T4R, but not illuminating the window switches was just plain stupid.
Has anyone added a lamp source mounted under the door pull?

If you found the right lamp the effect would be nice. Even an LED would would work.

Anybody done this?

sounds like a good idea. my 4th gen drivers switch is lit, but very dim. my jetta has led's under the rearview mirror. works great at night. you can see your hand when reaching for the radio, hvac, etc. and the red color doesnt distract at all.
