Ohio here, been on the forum for a little while since I sold my FJ a few years back. VW tdi buyback opened the door to get back to the world of Toyota. Picked up my 2016 Blue trail this morning and couldn't be happier. It's like a fancy roomy version of the FJ! Of course now no money for any fancy upgrades that I drool over on here but couldn't be happier.

Congrats! I live about 30 min. west of Dublin, bought mine yesterday, a '16 Trail. Coming from an '07 Xterra Off-Road I had since new that was totaled after I was rear ended. I was still depressed about it until I got behind the wheel of mine yesterday. Man, what great vehicles these 4Runners are!

Is it 4x4? I have an 05' and for the longest time I thought there was something going on....not sure if others have experienced this feeling and if it's a norm.
But I def. feel what you're talking about.
