Inexpensive, quality 3" lift

id forgo the diff drop(you can add that later if you so desire) but id take that money and buy an extended rear brake line, thats gonna be more important than the diff drop, neither are required though, just like the adjustable panhard bar or panhard bar drop....

That is what I was thinking. Sorry for the confusion earlier man! I'm just brand new in this and want everything perfect.

Yes. What you NEED:

Shocks front/rear
Front Coils
Rear Coils

The Tundra 5100 set comes with rear shocks and adjustable front shocks that are for coilovers. The Eibach springs will mount up to the 5100 shocks fine (you will need to steal the top hat from your stock coilovers, which is the coilover/control arm interface) and the shocks will mount to the truck fine. The OME 890s will work good too, and they just slide right in.

That is what you absolutely need for a suspension lift, as the kid said, brake line/panhard drop/diff drop/etc. aren't needed but you might want them.

All of this will work fine, just remember that the lower shock mount in the rear (shock to axle) will not fit right away and you will need either new bushings or cut the stock ones down to fit (what I did). If you are having a shop install this, they may come back and say the shock doesn't fit in the rear, and if you are doing this all yourself you will need the tools.

Good to know.
I'll look into it!

Oh, and BTW, I'm in Pleasant grove. Utah county.

I'm considering going 5 different directions with this build, so Idk. I'll keep everyone up to date though :) I'm starting a build thread as soon as I decide what to do.

I Think I'll Do This! So the tundra Springs All Around And Ome Coils All Around?

Sorry for the double explanation.... I originally replied from my phone and didn't read all the subsequent posts. The only thing I didn't see mentioned (although it may have been) was 1/4" top plate spacer for the front drivers side (I was told the passenger was not needed) to level out the stance. I didn't put one in mine (I forgot it during the install but have it if I need it) and it looks/feels level to me. I measured it and its like 1/32-1/16" higher on the passenger side, but it has only been on the truck for about 60 miles.

Anyways, like younprobably already know, the Tundra and 4Runner front Bilstein 5100 shocks are interchangeable on the 2001... not sure what other years, so you'd have to check your year to be sure. But I got the Tundra shocks and they bolted right up like they belonged there with nothing other than the supplied hardware.
