Information request on builds and rear locker options

I've tried searching.... All different ways and I can't seem to find two threads I've seen referenced in the past.
#1 A thread that lists different options to build your 4runner anywhere from a highway only, to weekend warrior off roader, all the way to the ultimate 4runner off roader.
#2 A thread that lists the available aftermarket rear lockers and how they work and their best applications.

Any help is appreciated.... I don't know where to look and can't find it in any of the sticky info threads (where they should be for their well written-ness)

Check the Marlin Crawler site for the lockers. They sell like 6 different kinds with good detail on how each one works.

What exactly are you asking? Because you said you found a thread listing rear lockers and their applications, and at the top of the forum is a list to 95% of the build threads in here, so what is it you're looking for?

#2 - All lockers work exactly the same, once they're engaged. Aussie lockers and Spartan lockers are automatic engaging lockers. They are budget friendly, effective, but can also be somewhat irritating to drive on the street. Selectable lockers, on the other hand, come in two flavors; air or electric. Both of which allow you to completely disengage the locker when not needed.

Having had both, I'd only ever consider selectable lockers, specifically Toyota e-locker. I didn't care for my auto (Spartan) locker at all.

All this being said, in my opinion a locker is the most effective off-road tool you can add. So kudos to you for looking in the right direction.

I may not be remembering it correctly... It wasn't the build threads. I'll check out the Marlin crawler website.

So apparently Yukon makes a locker similar to ARB's called the ZIP Locker.
