inner splash guards and body lift

so I just bought new inner splash guards for my 4runner....you have to have them in Alabama way to much mud....anyhow does anybody know if you install a roger brown body lift if the splash guards can be stretched to still work? seems to me they couldn't but maybe someone has a trick or something....thank you Chris.

I tried stretching mine and they ended up breaking and pulling out of the holes. If i had new ones id punch new holes in them that would allow them to fit without stretching.

I thought about that or even making some sort or extensions or even using some crazy zip tie action.....more times than not someone smarter than me has already figured out a better way to do things anyway :thumb3: so I thought I'd see what other guys on the forum have done

Just measure from the top to the bottom of the guard, but add the amount of inches you lifted your rig. All holes should line up. Measure 2x, cut once.

Stretching your existing ones WILL damage them.

With my 1.25" BL only the forward top hole of the splash guard can't be stretched enough to make it fit. I just use a zip tie and it works great.

I bought a couple of $7 black plastic trash cans from Lowes and used a razor knife to cut them up and make my own splash guards. Only took a couple of hours and they provide more splash protection than the OEM guards, which had disintegrated on my '04.
