insert for center armrest

Anyone have any recommendations for an insert inside of the center armrest? Something with holders, so your stuff isn't just ratteling around in there. I love all that space, but it's annoying if you have a pen, or extra pair of sunglasses, etc.. in there, and everytime you turn, everything slides and bangs around down there.

Thanks all! :biggrin2:

I picked up a 10? disc CD holder from Office Depot. It has rubber feet that provide enough stickiness to keep it from sliding around...it also came with some velcro pieces if you really want to secure it. By arrannging the CD cases properly, assuming you don't fill all the slots, you can create "pockets" for stuff. My wallet and cell phone fit nicely in these pockets when I go to the gym, for instance. The holder takes up enough floor space that it also holds my cell's car charger, corded ear piece, and whatever else is in the console securely enough to keep it from rattling around. Might cure your ills for under $10.

SWEET!! Thanks for the idea! I'll be swinging by Office Depot this weekend and picking one up!

Thanks Riverwolf, most appreciated

Dont laugh , I made one out of an old shoe box.
I made a slot to hold my 2 Surefire lights , pepper spray , stun gun , and the rest is for crap. But its nice that I know where exactly my need to have stuff is .

Sounds cheezy but it works.

I am currently working on a center console tray that has dividers. Pics will be up when I finish sometime this week. I wanted to utilize the dead space in there. Another alternative is to line the inside with foam or that anti-skid lining for inside of kitchen cabinets or drawers. Also you can use the foam padding people put to line their tool cases.
