good pic promed! it looks like i trimmed higher than you did, judging by those vent holes in the inner lining, i cut below the second one... so i think I may have cut around an inch or two more lining out...but i have yet to trim the actual fender. iI like the way yours came out, i feel like i trimmed to much! but i need to get offroad to really tell.
its kinda funny, but id like to re-do my rear mudflaps (i trimmed them, not removed) to utilize their bottom bolt hole for support and maybe even re-do the fender lining. i hate to feel like i may have taken too much....
any driver side pics? the drivers side seems like it would be more vuln. to wind & flapping ....

Hey TRIK! I was just there, Keystone actually, over Thanksgiving. My knees are still reminding me of how much fun I had (gettin' old!!!) Was gonna drive my 4runner but opted to fly instead. Was looking forward to the road trip and playing with my baby in the snow. Oh well, take lots of pics and post them so I can live vicariously.

I'll second that to the letter. I only have 12k on mine but they look great, ride great, are very quiet for M/Ts and tread life seems awesome so far. Even when I go to a bitter tire I'll probably get another set of STTs because I love look of the raised white letters and side lugs so much. I catch people looking at them all the time at intersections. Dudes in stock 4runners are like "why is that runner so much cooler than mine"? except when I pass crozhawk around town that is, lol. then it's the other way around.

I also have some more serious rubbing on the rear of the front fender, like im gonna have to trim some plastc there that i didnt expect to have to, the colored plastic piece above the body mount. and maybe even the wheel mount itself! but it seems to be more sever on the drivers side than the pass. on both front and rear.....
If i have to trim the body mount ill let the pro's do that, im no welder. Im gonna take pics tommorow!

the cornfed and other spacer lifts (daystar...) utilize the stock springs and struts, whereas the OME gives you new longer and beefier springs and struts. If you are concerned about ditching the xreas, i havent ever read of one sport owner missing it once theyve UPgraded, key word UP.

Welcome HKpre86!!!
Good to have you on board man. The XREAS system gets ditched if you go with OME. Spacers are an easy and inexpensive way to get up to 3 inches of lift (safely) and keep the stock components. Run a few searches on OME, cornfed and donahoe and I think you will find what you are looking for.

hey guys, after MUCH delay i have a couple pics of my truck.
Its not the best pic, but its a little bit of something, she isn't shiny clean or too dirty. the weather and waves over the last 3 days were wayy too good for me to clean the truck and take pics, so today when some rain rolled across the state i decided to get to one of the spots I frequent for some cruising and pic or two before sunset. Look for more in the gallery section soon, once i can take some good clean pics and some better offroad. Thanks to all who have similar setups, you've been my motivation and at this point i am REGRETLESS! only STOKE! woop woop!

I DO have the borla muffler, however, i decided to have both tips routed angled out the one side. There were a couple reasons 1) i never got the proper hangers from whoever ( i dont rememer) 2) for me, the total borla/trd setup once i got it all together was TOO QUIET. i dunno if its bc i was running the setup for a week or so with NO piiping after the muffler or what but i was unpleased with the sound. So i took the truck to a local place that was recommended and I talked with the dude for about 6 and a half minutes, basically explaining that i wanted more sound, less visible piping and had no need for the spare....and thats the result. The inner tip is the same angle as the borla, just a swapped tip and the other piping was custom bent to match up and come out right next to it. I like the sound now, not as loud as no tailpipes but louder than two split. 3) i also didnt like the 'fake' dual exhuast look once the kit was on, once i was underneath the truck on a lift i was like 'man thats just useless piping' so... overall I was eventually fully pleased :-D
