Installing an Xbox

I'm pretty sure I'm about to get the Jensen in-dash DVD/CD player with pop up screen linkage. anyways, i'm seeing there is one available A/V input on the back so i've decided on mounting my spare Xbox under the passenger seat (perfect fit by the way) and running the av cables from there. my question is, what's the best method of doing the power? i was thinking the cigarette lighter plug in convertor which i reckon would mount under the seat as well (behind xbox) but i was going to see if there were alternatives. thanks in advance.

you could hardwire it in. What you could do is hard wire a converter in, and plug into that, there have been others, search around.

That would be the best way, hard wire the converter then just plug in the XBOX. A lot cleaner and also the converter would be universal for other things, like a blender for magaritas when your camping, hair dryer for your lady, lol.

i have the jensen 9510 and it has 2 a/v inputs...double check!!!

just curious - are you going to be playing games on that 7" screen? i can barely keep up with all the stuff going on with my 19" tv! but then, my eyes aren't too hot.

Yeah i'll probably play it from time to time, when i'm stuck in traffic and such, but it'll mostly be for the person riding shotgun. and i've got a spare xbox just laying around might as well put it to use
