I am installing my bud built bump out sliders now. The passenger side no prob, but the driver side with the kdss lines a little more tricky. About to do a search on this site. But I guessing just need to pry out the lines and force the slider between the frame and kdss lines. I can only think that it is ok to do this cuz I do not see of any other way. What was your solution. Thanks

I had the same issues with my rocky road sliders. They sent some spacers to put in behind the lines so they would not rub on the sliders. I had to get the foot long screw driver to pry them far enough out.
You already know how to post a written message, so start from there.
From the screen where you type a message, scroll lower and you will see a button, "manage attachments".
Left click on that button and a pop up will appear. At the top of the pop will be two choices, "Upload a file from your computer" and "Upload a file from a URL". If the photo you are trying to post is already on your computer, hit "Browse" . Another pop-up will appear, "normal window's browse window", find the file you want to up load, highlight it, then hit open. The file addressee will then appear below the URL input window. There is a button next to browse, "Upload". When you click that button, the photo or whatever, will upload to your pending post.
Note, if the photo you are tying to upload to the post is too large, or corrupted, or in a format not recognized by this program, it will not post. A message will appear just above the file address in the manage attachment pop up. If too large, remove the original attempt, resize your photo on your computer, then re upload small photo again. A list of acceptable file formats appears on the manage your attachment pop up, attachment "key".
If your photo is coming from an internet photo program, just type in the URL of the photo in the second box and go from there.
I would then suggest you hit the "Preview Post" button, found just next to the submit reply button just below where you type your written message. That way you can determine if your upload is there, make corrections etc. Then hit the Submit Reply button. Be safe.

May I add. Almost every digi camera, and phone for that matter, on the market takes HUGE pictures and even though the site limits pic size some are still HUGE as you'll see browsing the site. So resizing your pics before you upload them would be nice, Something in the 800x600 or 640x480 size would be fine for the forum.

Installed my bud builts a couple weeks ago. You are correct, the mounting plate of the sliders goes between the KDSS hydraulic lines and the frame. Just take off both the protection covers for the KDSS lines that are right there on the driver side. As well take out the bolts holding the hydraulic unit to the outside of the frame. You can then use a long flat head screwdriver to pry out the lines as you simultaneously slip the rock sliders behind it.
I did this install on my own with a jack stand supporting one end of the slider and my jack on the other end. It takes some elbow grease, but it will go in there. Also, for the gas tank protection plate, just remove all the bolts except the rear passenger side bolt and just rotate the plate out of the way until you are ready to reattach it the driver side frame below the rock slider mount plate.
One trick I used was to first loosely install one bolt at the front (or rear) of the slider then use that as a fulcrum to line up the rest.
