Front Valance Panel Install

Step 1: Acquire TRD Pro Parts



Step 2: Take off front bumper



Step 3: Use dremel to create slots. There are 13 indication marks on the bumper.



Not the finest craftsmanship.




Step 4: Install front valance panel to bumper using clips



Step 5: Put back front bumper




Pretty Easy! Hardest part was taking off the front bumper.

Im looking for Black TE or PRO roof rack ends caps if anyone is selling them or wants to trade for silver ones off an SR5.

No I haven't and Im not sure if i will. The back of the SR5 look is fine as is. Sure it's the same concept as the front.

Yes, I previously ordered it, but returned without opening after I found out you need the holes in bumper.

Yeah, that's what I was starting to lean towards. How well has the vinyl wrapping on your front end held up this far? There's a place here in Austin that says they would do the lower lip for around $50, but not sure on lifetime expectancy, especially in the event it gets snagged/knicked by some brush..

Clips do NOT come with the bumper valances... You need to order 13 for the front and 14 for the rear valance if you bought that one also.

I have yet to find time to install mine but I picked up the clips at a local dealership.

The Toyota dealership said the clips for the TRD PRO Valance are: 75392-35220 $1.78 each which are white.

They visually look like the same clips just more money and a different color...

I haven't been yet but my buddy says Hidden Falls Adventure Park is pretty awesome. We should meet up there sometime and hit the trails!

$50 to wrap the front, bottom lip of bumper


Yeah, that's all I keep hearing but was hoping for something closer. We can definitely head out there though! We are expecting our first child on/around Sunday (17th), so I won't be able to head out that far away for a while lol..

I'm thinking maybe it was only $50 because on the SR5 there's no separate piece to remove? I'm getting mine clear bra'd in a couple weeks and shot an email asking how much to wrap it in black along with removal instructions of the valence and was quoted $250 :shocked: Needless to say I've just returned from Home Depot where I bought painters tape and plasti dip :decision:

That's the whole reason I reordered it. Hardest part should be removing the bumper, but I'm about to be home for two weeks once our baby girl is born so I'm ready!!
