Instrument Cluster LED Swap

[MENTION=59048]S p a r k y[/MENTION] The only section I really don't want to do is the steering wheel LEDs. We'll see.

Steering wheel is just as easy as cluster, if you can do one the other is same. Just unhook battery loosen screws on either side of wheel. You can lift the center of steering wheel up on top of steering column, with plenty of airbag wires left and it wont explode. Very easy.

Unplug battery, it’s simple to take out. I leave battery connected and don’t unplug it now, just sit it on top on wheel

I have been researching this since my display light is out (well, the right half). I found a write-up of that but I can hardly see the light behind the fan speed dial. Any way I can change that one and with what LED or bulb to make it brighter?

order 4 of the 4mm as t4
order 6 or 8 t3, can be use for buttons elsewhere.

for the t4 to work, must do a 12volt mod, have to unwind the leads, then solder extra wires, look for acc hot to give pos 12v.

Do you happen to remember which wire you tapped in to for the 12v mod? Looking to do this soon but I don’t have a multimeter or way to find a hot acc wire

Center Console light color change

I am looking for a different color for the center console area lights, (temperature, trip odometers, clock, radio display, and climate control buttons. I dislike the amber lights. What other colors can you get and where can you get them? I have looked a lot, but can't find them anywhere. Also what sizes do you need. I have replaced the dome lights, etc. with brighter LED bulbs, but now want to change that awful amber center console color! Thanks!

I'm new, probably breaking a few rules by not reading rules. If I am, I apologize. I got a 4th gen I would love to have all the led's swapped with red. I see multiple people are able to do this, but it also seems as though a few of them stopped responding/being active. with that said, who is available to help me out with this project? I can send all the stuff out, just need pricing info and details etc. Any info or leads would be of great help, and I look forward to becoming a new member of the community!!!
