Intake manifold gasket leak?

I recently had the valve cover replaced because my mechanic said it was leaking (I trust him). I have had this oil around the base of my injectors prior to and after the valve cover replacement. Ive cleaned it a few times and it has come back. He says its leaking from the intake manifold gasket. Does this sound right? I searched but cannot find one instance of this on the 4.7.

I've heard a lot about the 4.7s having manifold leaks and I actually have to pick mine up tomorrow from having to buy new manifolds from a leak, cost me 1200$

Was your leak similar to mine? Was your manifold warped? Just wondering what warranted new manifolds rather than replacing gaskets.

Is there anywhere else this leak could be coming from? Base of injectors are wet on drivers side. Passenger side is dry.

To update this to see if anybody can provide additional direction. After cleaning the wet areas in the picture shown. It appears the oil is coming from one of the bolts on the intake manifold. Due to the location I am not able to take a picture. Do these bolts have washer gaskets? Seems weird to be leaking from it.

hate to bring up an old post but did you ever figure out what was causing this?
Im finishing up my water pump/timing belt and notice this around the base of my intake/ injectors
