none of the hardware stores by me had tubing for the dimensions of 2.75 x 2.5. I ended up ordering it from a local steal yard for 10$ plus the nipple for 2$ this is only cost me 12$.
Like others have said there will be minimal HP gain, which im not in it for that. Im more for just doing it and clearing up the air flow, and maybe some sound.

I wound up using thin-wall steel, but also replaced the entire intake pipe from MAF to TB. I will post a write-up/how-to once I have enough post counts to create a new thread. Here is the before and after:
Intake silencer removal ver. 2.0: Smallest inner diameter in the intake is 2.88" which is larger than the OD of the throttle body. Smooth shot from MAF to TB. These are just pictures of the test fitment. Haven't road tested it very much yet

I agree the Deckplate mod accomplishes as much as any ISR mod for a whole lot less, but the gains are microscopic. I sensed no real change due likely to the small airbox - compared to the same mod on my '03 Tundra which really mellowed out the throttle response. Would be interested in the affect on fuel mileage.

I've got a 4" deck plate mod done on this air box as well as the intake piping replacement. I've been running it open for a couple months. Would imagine there would be a difference if using the combination of the two. Don't have any dyno numbers to back it up, just seat of the pants. If it's not any quicker it certainly sounds like it.

I purchased plastic 1/2" NPT to barbed fittings off Amazon for the vacuum hoses. It's been a minute but I believe the fuel pressure regulator barbed piece was 1/2" NPT to 1/8" or 1/4" barbed and the vacuum was 1/2" NPT to 3/8" or 1/2" barbed. Can't remember what size hoses I ran. My orders aren't showing up on Amazon anymore so I can't be specific. Just match it to whatever size hose you are using for each.

I understand photo bucket turned into trash, and was curious if you could share the images of your current set up, I tried to Google your specific one and may have found it, but wanted to make sure before I bug you about specifics like if you had changed your connections for you pipe.

There's also the smog-legal AirAid intake tube. I know it's like $150, but if you have to deal with visual smog inspections it's the only way to go.
