Interchangeable bumpers?

I got into an accident the other day in my 2000 SR5 4Runner, and damaged the front bumper pretty good and it has to be completely replaced. Im looking at getting a used Front Bumper Assembly and just curious if I can use a different model year for my 4runner? does the bumper assembly i get have to stay within the 3rd Gen model years? Just want to know what other model years would be interchangeable with my model

fatlips and non-fatlips are interchangeable with the appropriate mounting brackets.

fats 99-02, 96-98 nonfat lips

My 99 has a 96 bumper because fatlips look like :toilet3:

Considered this as I'm not a huge fan of my fat lip, did you have to chop any frame to get it to mount up?

Probably will leave it alone untill I'm ready for a SHROCKS, unless I find a old style in GREAT shape for near free.

The 96-98 may have the bumpers, but hands down we have the cupholders.
