I can only see the pic for about a half second because I don’t have a wish account, but I got a similar one, and it was pretty poor quality. I mean, it worked and the image was ok, but it gave very little reference because the bumper wasn’t in the image.

Hahaha! That post is where I booked-marked the amazon page of the COOLINT camera, but couldn't find my way back to the write-up you did. Good write-up BTW.

When I saw this camera on WISH, I compared it to the COOLINT CT-107B on amazon. I really liked the COOLINT one with the tiny quick connector and metal housing and came close to buying it many times. What caught my attention on this WISH camera was the resolution.

WISH
Resolution: 1280*720
Angle: 170*
LUX: High-sensitivity mode for low-light conditions (whatever that means)
Housing: Unknown (now that I have it, it is plastic)

So I was attracted to the resolution. I figured I could cut the big a$$ connector and re-attach after I feed the wire. I have no interest in drilling a huge hole in my baby. The rest of the info is mumbo-jumbo Chinese gibberish and common clip-art pictures and cannot rely on it.

I have read these cheap Chinese cameras die an early death, so I may hook it up to a bench setup and see what it does first. I really hope I can see the bumper! otherwise that would suck.

After buying a few things thru the Wish app, I’ll never do it again. The quality of the products I got was sub par and have all ended up in the trash.

I opted for the license plate style camera and unconventionally mounted it inside the truck on the roof by the rear light. No weather issues to worry about. No silicone needed.

The benefit is that I have a higher angle of view looking down and it never ever gets dirty. if the window is covered with dirt or snow, I simply lower the window and inch to get a clear view.

Note: you have to reverse the camera in the mount as the picture will obviously be in reverse and the swivel allows for easy adjustment.

The quality has nothing to do with the Wish app... Being how 90% of anything you buy in the store says "made is China", it's all the same quality. Like anything, you have to be mindful of what you buy. The items in Wish are the same items in most of your retail stores. Stores just mark up the price.

i think you overpaid this camera setup, ebay has it for cheaper. i have bought one for a camry and it works pretty good.
