We were in San Diego at during the week of Christmas, and on Mission Beach I saw one of their 4runners. It was a 2018 TRD ORP in Barcelona Red! Same as my model, actually, which kinda made me feel cool a little bit. The lifeguard I talked to about it said they have trained with them in the sand where they piled up a bunch of sand, sunk it into the pile, then used Crawl Control to pull right out of the pile. He claimed they like to think they can't get stuck in them. I would love to believe that, but I know crap happens.

Also, here in Utah, I happen to know there are several unmarked 4R's running around that are assigned to division heads for different state departments (Public Safety, Div Nat Resources, etc.) Our installer for all of our police equipment has outfitted some of them for the state. I agree with MossJenks that with so many on the road, an unmarked unit blends in well!
