Interior Aux. Fuse Panel Install

Hi All,

I wanted to add an aux. fuse panel inside the cab to power a few things. I know others have done stellar jobs putting them under the hood but I have not seen many interior ones. This might be helpful for someone.

I am using the empty space below and behind the glove box to put the panel. Completely out of sight and well protected.

The fuse panel is Blue Seas and the black bracket is bent up from 12 gauge aluminum flat sheet scrap and painted black. Cardboard template was used to get form.

For power I used a Maxi-Fuse at 25 A tied in up near the battery (a cct. breaker would have been better, but overkill for my little set up.) Wire is 8 g. before the maxi-fuse stepping down to 10 g. after. Neg. is 10 g. all the way up to the fender and is tied in very near the battery to fender strap. For access I used the grommet that is just to the right of the gas pedal (viewed from engine) as my 5speed uses the clutch grommet that others have used for wiring.

Here are a few pics. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out for something no one will ever see. Also seen in the 3rd pic is my full time power outlet that I added about 5 years ago.

Nice and clean, I like it a lot.

I see some well executed crimps and some adhesive lined shrink... my kinda install.
