Interior LED Conversion Problem

I decided to do the LED light conversion for my 2000 Limited. I got all the bulbs in and went to work on it today. I got every thing installed, except the dash gauges are not working. I ordered #24 x3 but they will not turn on. So I put a #74 in to see if it would work and it did. Does anyone know why this would be? I wondered if they sent me the wrong bulb, but it fit in nice and snug. On the bulb it says "181" im not sure what that means. Also, my glove box light will not work. I have not checked the voltage with a multimeter yet so the issue could be its not getting power, but where in the glove box is the mechanism that turns the light off when you shut it and on when you open it? Attached is my parts list and pictures of the #24 and #74 that I used.

I can't help with the bulbs, but the glovebox light is always on with the park/headlights.

LEDs only go in one way so switch it around? did you blow a fuze? I blew my dome light fuze when I put it in and also put it in wrong another time and was wondering why it didn't work. if that's not it then idk. GL

I tried switching the LEDs around with no luck. I dont think it is a fuse because it works with #74s and the original lights.

It might be the housing? does the old bulb work when you put it back in?

Yeah they old bulb works when I put it in. I put #74 in the 3 spots and it looks good. So I think I will just leave them in. Does anyone have experience returning bulbs to autolumination? Ive heard the customer service is not the best

Did you try using two pieces of loose wire to check and make sure the bulbs in question work fine once connected to the battery? If they light up fine that way, then you probably just need to take a closer look at the base to see why the terminals are not making contact when plug into the socket.

Something I noticed when installing the #24 bulbs is that they're just about as picky as my wife! If you don't have them in perfectly, they're not going to come on.
