looking to upgrade my in cabin lights and headlights. in both cases, looking for something much brighter on 17 TRD off road. anyone done either that could recommend the product they upgraded with?

I did the PrecisionLED Premium kit with the LED back up lights and plate lights for my '16 Barcelona Red 4Runner, and when I traded it in for my '18 MGM, I swapped over all my LEDs except fro the puddle lights (didn't want to take the mirrors apart again).
They worked really well. But then I saw the ArcLight offering, and went with them, for the switchable red/white option.
The Arclight Icarus option is expensive, but you get 2 colors, and can switch to red at night to save your night sight.
you do have to drill the lenses, but it's not a big deal.
Here is what they look like with the red on..

I put in Diode Dynamics HP6 (or whichever has the highest lumen) in red in my map lights. Love them. I ended up getting a board from them also in red for the dome light. Not as bright as I wanted, but good enough. Anything is better than the oem halogens. Diode also has a 3 year warranty.

Gotta say, I have the ArcLight LEDs for the map light and rear hatch. I love the ability to switch to red lights, especially when I am photographing at night. They are bright, I think that my map light module is set about 50% of light. Easy to install, but a little pricey. Will be looking to get the dome module next.

I've got the full install of the red/white Arc Lights and they're awesome... after you get past the cost. They are a quality product though.
