Interior trim question

Bought my 2015 TRDP used and I notice a hole in the small cubby holder on the dash.

Anybody has an idea of what is was for ?

Or what can I use it for ?
Since the hole is already there, might as well use it !

I would guess the previous owner had a power wire coming out of there for something to power an accessory device they had sitting in that spot? Check the fuse panel and see if they added a circuit maybe? Then again they probably pulled the wire back and out too. That would be my guess... wiring came through there for something, push button hidden switch :suspicious:

What would you put in there that requires a constant power input that cannot be given by the cig. charger ?

That's where I have my remote subwoofer control mounted. It's the perfect space for that purpose, but an otherwise useless compartment.

I often drive with the rear hatch window down and don't want to advertise that I have a radar detector.

I don't have the velcro, but I did cut a hole there to route the quick disconnect and cable for the CB hand unit in my truck.

He would know if he traced it, wouldn't he? But then again if it leads nowhere, it wouldn't matter what was connected there. Just use the hole anyway.
