I switched from Comcast to Verison Fios a couple months back and not only did I save almost a hundred bucks a month I'm also supercharged now. :bigok:

All we get here in Columbia MISERY (missouri), is century link or mediacom. Both are horrible in my opinion, Paying almost $75 for this. Its quick, but not that quick.

OK... well my parents signed up for a friend with that ACN crap. usually right around 1.1 to .8 mb/s 1.7 max. How great is that? my phone on the sprint network is faster than that.

Switched from Comcast to FIOS about 2 years ago mostly for better reliability. Been more than happy so far. For internet we have a Static IP for the server but still works just dandy for porn.

I thought I read some time ago that Verizon was not running new fiber optic lines because they were not making money with FIOS.

I get about 16 on Charter Cable (thru my router), but last week it has hitting 26. Local Quest Phone is running fiber for the DSL folks here, wonder what that speed is.
