Nope, I think it's a full time 4wd. We don't get the 2wd versions of Toyota trucks in Canada, other than the Tacoma X-Runner I think.

I do not run a fuse block right now, but I've been looking into doing a Blue Sea.

Thanks! I actually voted for someone other than myself. Hope he wins next time the 5th gens come around. I was camping all weekend so I'm just getting around to responding to all this now. Just doing some post-processing on the pics I took, so they might be posted in the next couple hours...

It was a great weekend. While we didn't do a lot of wheeling it was a nice to get out in the woods and do some camping. I just love being down in Crowsnest.

And another still. Both Tacomas in these pics have been out of action for a while - one with a cracked head gasket and the other awaiting removal of the ProComp Bro lift. This was the first time they've been out since winter so it was good to see them back.

[MENTION=63060]rickashay[/MENTION] learning the difference between IFS and SFA. He would've taken a skid plate scrape with IFS, but here his front diff was resting on a boulder. After some hilifting and rock stacking he was able to back off with only a couple scrapes.

Since it wasn't really a wheeling weekend (the Land Cruiser is waiting on new front and rear bumpers so didn't have any recovery points) the opportunity to do some posing couldn't be passed up.

Nice pics.

As for the fuse block, definitely grab a Blue Sea block as they certainly clean up the engine bay and make everything nice and tidy.

Here is a picture of my recently completed wiring upgrade (which includes the Big 3 in addition to the Blue Sea block).





*I still need to wrap my winch power cable so it doesn't wear through on any random metal.

I was certainly delighted to see pic's at the start of your thread of a run I was also involved in.... My 4Runner was parked next to the famous guys 4runner!...so Awesome.

Had a pretty busy weekend. On Saturday I helped out with a women's 4wd clinic. I think they'd school a lot of the guys who think that women can't wheel.

Overall it was a great day and nice to see a group of women out on the trail. I find most women who think they'll hate it end up loving it once they give it a try.

Sunday was a trail day but I didn't get a chance to take many pics. The obstacles were pretty tough and around lunch time we had a mechanical failure as one truck's diff grenaded. We had to pull the drive shaft on the trail and winch him back down the hills until he could drive himself out with only front wheel drive in 4Lo. Here's a quick sample of the pics.
