Inverter button not going to 400W?

I pushed the inverter button but it only lights up orange on the 100W... pressing it again just turns it off.... does something have to be plugged in for it to light up 400W? Thx

I think you need to have the transmission in park for it to go into 400W mode.

On mine the engine has to be running for 400w

Is the 12v sockets always on with the ignition off? I want to run my ARB fridge and not have to worry about it shutting off when the car is off... I can't believe how many 12v connections there are in this thing lol

I was trying it in traffic and it would only turn on the orange light....

hmm whats the issue? Is it something different on the 2015's?

What does the inverter have to do with your ARB fridge? You should run it on 12 volts, not 115.
I would run a separate wire direct to the battery for the fridge. It doesn't draw very many amps when running, but does draw a good bit on compressor startup.

Definitely run a separate power line for the fridge. Only takes a couple hours, safer, unlikely to blow a fuse and using the right gauge wire can reduce battery drain.

If you plan on multi day or offroading I would suggest getting the screw-in socket that ARB sells. I've had mine wiggle out a couple times

As for constant 12v on as a separate issue, here is what I did.

Simpler than tearing the dash up to get to the relay, but not as neat. You can search for "constant 12v mod" and there are different ways of doing it.

Yea 400W only works when the engine is on and in Park. No idea why that would be...

the ARB fridge I have has a battery monitor so it will shut off the fridge before killing the battery which is nice....
