Yes it is pretty cool... it is exclusive to Best Buy until Christmas so you won't find this at your local shop for another month (unless they do like I did and go buy buy best buy out of them for my shop).
I would be on the lookout for a Blackberry application soon.

Pretty cool. Looks like there's a service plan after the first year though. Would be a great if they added a GPS receiver or something on it so just in case the car does get stolen, you'll be able to track it down.

compustar have the same thing, computrack, all u do is pay that yearly fee, its 1 , 3 , 5, year plan, works from the house phone or cell phone, no need for i phone.

Computrack isn't exactly the same thing. You can basically only lock/unlock and remote start your car from a cell phone, everything else is done on a computer interface.
The viper interface forwards alerts, such as your alarm going off, to your phone in addition to the basic keyless entry and remote start features. $30 a year isn't bad either... The computrack is cool because it offers tracking, but you don't have the full convenience in your pocket like you do with Viper's application
