I was quoted for a 06 4x4 4runner for $30,535;

Model..............2006

MSRP..............................$34,036

Your Price........................$31,535

rebate..............................$1000

your total.........................$30,535

Above quote includes the following equipment:jbl system with 6 disc changer, urthane steering controls, homelink, rear spoiler, daytime running lights, sport package, tow package, carpets

The same option for 4x2 for $28,069.

Is it good price? Which one should I get. Should I spend extra $2000 for a 4x4? I only need 4x4 durring the winter to go up to the mountain. I was successfully used 4x2 truck with chain and no problem.

Please help quick. I plan to go to the dealer at 3:00 PST today and do the deal.

Thank you,
Tyltan

I am assuming this is for a V6 sport? I priced a V6 Sport with all your options on Edmunds and they say MSRP is 34,515 and they say invoice is 30, 564 and most people are paying 31,441 so it sounds to me like you could get it a little cheaper, but I also dont know what the differences are between yours and the one I built/priced to make a 500 dollar increase.

As for the 4x2 or 4x4 that is entirely up to you, it sounds to me like you are in a position where you need it, but you say you can also get by with 2 wheel drive and chains... Personally I would rather be able to flip a switch then have to get out of the car to put chains on and off all the time, but I also don't know if the price increase is worth it to you for the convenience...

If it were me I would go 4x4 just beacuse its nice to have incase you need it.

Check out www.edmunds.com and price your 4runner...there might be an option I accidently added or something else I messed up, you also might learn some things you didnt know...

Thank Sketch.

The price included $1000 incentive rebate from Toyota.

I am leaning toward a 4x4 now.

looks like a pretty good price........I got a similar deal in march with 2.9%.

Given it's later in the model year I bet you could get a thousand less........

good luck!
