Just noticed this a couple days ago. Went light trailing last weekend. If its something I should fix what is the issue and how do I do it?

Is the boot busted or just leaking out the clamped end.... They have new clamps you can try and re clamp it if it is leaking out the clamp

^ I agree. The ones that tend to go are on the CV's. I'm on my phone but if my old eyes are doing me right, that's one if the boots around the inner tie rods on the steering rack. Looks like you're okay.

That boot should not have any steering fluid in it. Your rack has a slight leak. I wouldn't be worried though.

Unless you are losing power steering fluid I wouldn't worry about. Probably just a light seepage. If you are super worried about it, pull the boot and look at the rack and see how bad it is leaking. I'm betting it's not as bad as you think.

FYI you can get a rebuilt rack from Rockauto.com for about 500 with a core charge.

What brought this to your attention?

When we were out at 'the rolls' last weekend I heard a sound when we went over that first little bump. I told you about it. Sounded like a spring popping off or something of the likes.

Thanks for the response guys. Just checked it and still looks the same so I will just keep an eye on it.

Yep, I remember. Did you get home and do a full vehicle inspection?...ha. Do you know if your shocks are original or have been replaced? Maybe check the shock mounts.
