Is there a fog light mod?

Anyone know of a way to rig things such that the stock fogs will stay on when the high beams are turned on? I found a mod to do this on my dodge truck on my other forum. I just had to jumper a single pin on each of 2 relays under the hood. The downside is that the fogs come on as soon as even the parking lights are turned on and they stay on under all circumstances (the fog light on/off switch does nothing). That works okay for me, though, because I want them on all the time when my lights are on.

Thank you JA. Thats the one I used as a guide. Still need to update my light up the night project thread, but waiting on the install of my HIDs first. Perhaps tomorrow.

If you would only like the fog lights to come on with the low and high beams and not the parking lights, tap into the high beam circuit for the relay instead of the parking light circuit shown in the diagram.

This past weekend I custom installed Hella Micro DEs into my 98 bumper valance. I just wired them to the ignition. I had absolutely zero experience with lighting/wiring. But with some instruction and once I found the right wire it was pretty easy. I can turn my fogs on anytime at the flip of the switch. When the truck is on or off, headlights on or off, high or low beam. Any combo. I love it! I know this doesnt really apply to you guys with 99 to 02 runners. Just wanted to share my excitement about my new fog lights!

How do you wire them up on a 98 Limited? My inside switch was disconnected so I am not sure where the black and yellow wires go on the connectors at the dash since there are 3 of them. And if I wanted to override the factory way and have them come on when I want them I am not sure how to do it at the fuse box under the hood. I did find I had a blown fuse there at the fender beside the battery! I have searched the forum and my friend GOOGLE!!!! I think it is almost time for a beer!
