I've seen a couple posts recently which seem to indicate that our transmission's life expectancy is very much inferior to that of the engines. One was in the post that talked about seeing a runner with 600,000+ k/m on it and someone said something to the effect of "original engine isn't surprising, but wonder how many transmissions it's had" or something like that.
I've studied here for a while now and just don't know of any glaring common problems with our transmissions, but is there something I don't know?
