Is this a problem?

After installing my lift ive noticed that my UCAs are lower than most of the members. Is that a problem or is that normal?

Is this picture right after the install or after driving a few miles on it?
After lifting my truck and putting it back on the ground, it was sitting like that. Drove it around for a few miles and she settled.

If you didnt change the perch height, i left it on the 3rd from the bottom. Tundra has 5 perches.
If you are running stock bumper this might be a little high/harsh ride for you.
For my 2000 the third was fine on both stock bumper and after my ARB. But understand every year and every truck will be different.

Ive driven it around a bit. I didnt instal the front i had some buddies of mine do it and they put it on the forth perch to match the rear. I am running the stock pumber right now. Would it be wise to lower them back down to the third or second?
 
Your balljoints won't like operating at that angle and your CVs/axles won't either. I'm on the third perch and think that's pushing it a bit. No way I'd want them to be on the fourth.

There's no reason to be that high for 265/75/16s.

What do you have for rear springs that you're trying to match?

Yeah, that's an extreme angle on your front end. It will wear out the upper ball joints quickly, potentially cause your lower ball joints to fail, rip your cv boots, cause your tires to wear unevenly as the front end cant properly be aligned

I have learned over the past four years and with several lifts, that they need to be done the right way or they will create a number of front end issues.
 
moved to fourth?! damn yea thats way to crazy.
if that photo is of the truck after driving around that lift is wayyy to high. Im amazed they even got it in, ride must feel like its on rocks.

But yes the eibach spring itself generates 3"s of lift.
Make sure you keep that in consideration when choosing perches.

Yeah you should really be running only a 3.5" lift max in the front. The bottom perch is 3" and if you add a top plate spacer that can get you the extra .5". This will also give you the best compression in the rocks and best ride.

tundra bilsteins are second perch with eibachs = 2.75"~ third perch = 3"s~
tacoma bilsteins are first perch with eibachs = 3"~

squiggly line for "ish" since all years and trucks are going to be slightly different.

I had almost 4.5" lift on the third perch with tundra coils, according to toytec the eibachs are 3" on the bottom perch.
 
like i said different for everyone.

i ran these on the 3rd perch with a stock setup for a short amount of time and net about 3"s of lift over stock.
After adding an ARB still was at 3"s of lift.

Toytec says eibachs net 3"s on the bottom perch of a tacoma/4runner bilstein 5100.
tundra 2nd perch is equal to tacoma 1st perch in a sense of the two shocks side by side
 
I had to use the lowest setting perch on my 5100's because there was no way I was going to need that much preloaded spring tension. The toy techs are legit on the 5100's and feel great.
