Honestly, there's more nuance to the middle east than any of us can sum up in a forum post.

My observation is simply this. The US has been supplying protection for various parts if the world, especially Europe since the end of WWII. In return we've received scorn for our interventions and "bullying". Obama pulls out of Iraq, the region goes to hell. Europe gets flooded with more refugees than it can handle.

I don't honestly believe the following; but there's a part of me that wants to see the u.s. withdraw from everywhere in the world and let them all get a taste of what we've been trying to prevent for the last 70 years.
