Finished up my isr mod today let me know what you guys think?

yeah i just went to a local exhaust shop and had them custom cut it and everything and they gave it to me for free so i scored
 
So how is it? I wanna do it but I've been told it's so loud that a person can't even talk on the phone. I chase wrecks (freelance news) sometimes but I'm also on the FD so I usually have my radio(s) on while driving. Is it really that loud? Me personally I wouldn't care, but I do need to hear the radios for the most part.
 
I have been wanting to do this mod, but I cannot seem to find a pipe of the right diameter. I will have to check out this siliconeintakes.com

At regular driving cant really tell a difference in noise if you stomp on it you cant tell you did it but me and brother were talking fine over it when i showing him. It does make the jntake louder but not like a dragster loud. Lol. You can talk over it.

so what does the OD of the pipe need to be?

Its aluminum intake tubing i got from siliconeintakes.com pretty good stuff. Only comes in a foot or bigger but you can cut down to size.

Thanks, ordered one from there earlier this morning, got the 1' 2.75 aluminum tube. Already had a tracking number within an hour or so! I was surprised.

Looks Great, nice way to improve on this mod!
Do you have the stock exhaust?
If so do you think you could take a short video/sound clip?
 
Looks great. Could we get a closer pic? I can't really see how you mounted the vacuum lines on it. also what's the major benefit from this?? little better airflow??

Yea I think it's a great company got my tracking with an hr and got in 2 days. Hope you get yours that fast. And yes that's exactly what I got.

Thanks!!! I do not have stock exhaust I've got an fj cruiser exhaust that I fabbed up because I had it sitting in my garage. Lol! I think it sounds great to me. I'll try and get a video but it would be from iPhone cause I don't have a good camera.
