I had a very good experience with him. Got my stage 2+ cables from him in under the promised time. He responded to my texts within a reasonable amount of time, I was very happy. I would buy from him again.
Has anyone heard from him ? He told me to message him on tacomaworld, i did and he never replied. We were talking through emails and he stopped replying. Im interested in stage 4 and but he wont answer. Hez the one who told me to contact him.
MyHigh, I am happy that I provided you some humor but I think you may have missed the point of this, I started this thread on Apr. 4th, which was 12Weeks after I ordered an Item that the Owner/CEO said would take 3weeks to ship out(9Weeks late)!Maybe it's just me but I find find all this just humorous,
I mean I know that we as a 21 century human have come to expect things right away. We have fast food, fast checking, fast internet, I can go on and on but I think you get the point. We lost our ability to be patient, it's a product of the times.
I in your situation I would also understand a longer delay, but never once did I say I was apart of a group buy. My dealings with B2B were strictly Business to Customer, we emailed and paypal money was sent then a completion time email was provided by the Business. I was not aware of any ongoing group buys on this board or others as that is his business not mine. When I decided to go ahead and buy the big 3 upgrade from B2B I kinda figured it would take some time, I was 75th on the list or close to. I also had extra work done on top of the big 3 and payed more then just the level one upgrade.
Actually his Alternators are outsourced to a different company, he builds the big 3 setups but I never ordered those, and did not know about the Alternators until much later. The quality seemed of the highest and I could not find any complaints when I looked to order so I was 100% in.Bob is a one man show, that works during the day and builds thus stuff on the side..
Nothing more needed to say on the group buy issue as I was not made aware of any ongoing large scale orders as that is not my business. He had a very large showing of member wanting his work, now can't we just accept that there will be hiccups? Can't we allow the man to make a few mistakes without wanting to burn him at the post? Can't we understand that getting 50 or so emails a day about this group sale, that one might get lost on the fifth page of everything?.
I never questioned the quality, only the lack of communication to his customers that have paid and waited for a product, which is easy to fix on his part.I for one am extremely happy about the quality of work put into my purchase. I for one understand that he is putting some serious man hours into building these set, I mean it's not like we bought a mass produced product from china, that some vendor is slashing 10% off for the forum. People, we bought from him something that had to order the various parts after the list was closed, he couldn't go down to Napa and buy this stuff because a normal store would not stock these parts in such bulk.
Again, not part of the group buy, nor was I made aware of it.Now I hope all this makes some sense to a few of you unhappy customers and maybe makes you see things a little different. If not, then lets do an experiment, let's get 100 people to order something real easy okay. Let's order .75 cents from you, we as customers get to decide how we receive this, 3 quarters, 7 dimes 1 nickel, hell, 75 pennies. Point is, I'm sure you will make a mistake, have problems shipping, lose a package under the seat, whatever it may be I imagine somehow you will screw up. So let's give Bill a break, let's give him 3-5 days to respond to an email before we bombard him with another one. Let's maybe not buy something again that is a group buy because we can't be a little patient for said product to be delivered..
